本店港香堂十分榮幸被作者訪問，並與其他老香港店鋪並列入此書中。 非常感謝！ 當很多香港人在離開香港到處旅行的時候，香港人每天對著香港的一切事物就不覺得是什麼一回事。 但是在香港多年久米小姐卻看見到我們香港製造的獨特珍貴價值並記錄下來。 作為致力推廣香港傳統文化的我，當然非常高興和感恩，她為我們這些為香港製造之名默默付出努力的人給予最珍貴的肯定。 因此我也特地在日本訂購此書，讓香港人知道，作者眼中非常珍貴的香港製造，是有些什麼的！
香港雜貨有很多粉絲和收藏家，但最近很難找到真正的Made in Hong Kong物品，目前的情況是它們與中國製造的復古或古董物品混合在一起。  本書以豐富的圖片介紹各種雜貨，重點關注開始變得稀有的流行香港製造雜貨，並採訪數量逐年減少的製作者，闡釋雜貨的多方面吸引力。
  作者是旅居香港的資深攝影師，本身也是雜貨收藏家。  希望大家能透過雜貨感受到作者眼中的香港的過去和現在，以及為子孫後代保存雜貨而開啟的未來。
Our store is honored to be visited by the author and included in this book along with other old Hong Kong stores.  Thank you so much!  When many Hong Kong people leave Hong Kong and travel around, Hong Kong people see everything in Hong Kong every day and never think that these things are precious.  But after living in Hong Kong for many years, Miss Kumi saw the unique and precious value of our products made in Hong Kong and recorded them.  I am committed to promoting Hong Kong's traditional culture, and of course I am very happy and grateful. She has given the most precious recognition to those of us who have worked silently for the name of Made in Hong Kong.  Therefore, I specially ordered this book in Japan to let Hong Kong people know that in the author's eyes, there are some things made in Hong Kong that are very precious!
Hong Kong goods have many fans and collectors, but in fact it has become difficult to find genuine Made in Hong Kong items recently, and the current situation is that vintage or antique items made in China are mixed in. This book introduces a variety of goods with a wealth of photos, focusing on popular Made in Hong Kong goods that are becoming rare, and also interviews the makers, whose numbers are decreasing year by year, to explore the appeal of goods from various angles.
The author is a veteran photographer living in Hong Kong and is also a collector of goods herself. I hope that you will be able to feel the past and present of Hong Kong as seen by the author through goods, and the future that will be opened up by preserving goods for future generations.
私たちの店は著者が訪問し、他の香港の古い店とともにこの本に掲載されることを光栄に思います。 どうもありがとうございます！ 多くの香港人が香港を出て各地を旅行するとき、香港人は毎日香港のすべてについて何も考えていません。 しかし、著者は香港に長年住んだ後、香港で当社の製品のユニークで貴重な価値を発見し、記録しました。 香港の伝統文化の促進に尽力している者として、メイド・イン・香港の名のために黙々と努力してきた私たちに彼女が最も貴重な評価を与えてくれたことは、もちろんとても嬉しく、感謝しています。 そこで、著者の目から見て香港で作られたものにはとても貴重なものがあるということを香港の人々に知ってもらいたくて、この本を特別に日本に注文しました。

著者は香港在住のベテランフォトグラファーで、自身が雑貨のコレクターでもあります。著者が雑貨を通して見てきた香港の過去と今、そして雑貨を後世に残すことで開けていくであろう未来を感じていただければと思います。
